Don’t tell me there’s no magic in the world. Don’t pretend you’ve seen the frontiers.

You are too far away to even notice how entangled you are with the world you assume is lifeless and dead. First, critique your enactments of ontological distance, trouble your pretensions to untouched objectivity, question your philosophies of disembodied sovereignty, and recognize how the unsayable haunts your claims to universal knowledge.
